NFL Dream Welsh rugby star Louis Rees-Zammit turned many heads earlier this year when he announced that he will be leaving the sport that made his name in exchange to be a National Football League player. I've been training really hard for 7 or 8 weeks now and I think I'm in a good position. I feel smooth, I feel comfortable and I'm ready to show everyone what I can do," Louis Rees-Zammit said to press.  The Story of Jack Gohlke He's not your typical man to make a standout, but Jack Gohlke, the shooting guard for the university of Oakland, single-handedly upset the number 3 Kentucky Wildcats. This was Jack's first year at this university, as he played 5 years at Hillsdale university. He has always worked as an uber driver, as after his stupendous game against Kentucky, fans on social media would explain how they remember him being their uber driver from late night parties or bar runs. Gohlke has always been committed to the game, but also himself. He had said after the game against Kentucky that he never had a doubt that they would win, as even though he won't play in the NBA, he knew he could still compete with those guys. This is where he explains that him and his team are, "Not a Cinderella." The Game Itself Jack Gohlke and his team obviously came in as the underdogs against the powerhouse of the Kentucky Wildcats. The game seemed to start of slow for the Wild...

The "Fight" for the SEC Championship

Image
The Instigation In the midst of the SEC Championship game, an unwanted brawl between the number 1 South Carolina Gamecocks and the number 2 LSU Tigers broke out. South Carolina's Milaysia Fulwiley had stolen the ball from LSU point guard, Hailey Van Lith. LSU then decided to foul Fulwiley to prevent her from getting an easy bucket. After this foul, Fulwiley and her teammate celebrated, accidentally running into one of LSU's players, Flaujee Johnson. Johnson was angry at this bump, so she pushed one of South Carolina's players as she was heading back to the bench. This in fumed Kamilla Cardoso, the post for the Gamecocks, as she then pushed Flaujee straight to the ground, as all chaos broke loose. Both of the team's benches rose towards the fight, either trying to stop it or to instigate more. The referees and head coaches both had to bring the team's back to their benches, as they then took a long time reviewing the fight, ultimately ejected 4 of the Gamecock's ...

Carolina Blue is the Better Blue

Change in Momentum The North Carolina Tarheels took advantage and celebrated the program's first Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season title in seven years on the homecourt of their brutal rival, the Duke Blue Devils. After the prestigious win, the Tarheels gathered midcourt near the "Cameron Crazies" section and waved goodbye in a taunting fashion. They were only just answered by several people throwing water bottles and empty bottles at them in anger. The Tarheels figured that this didn't matter as after their 84-79 win, they secured the top seed in the ACC tournament and a season sweep of their rivals. The 9th ranked Blue Devils took the loss in fashion, both within seconds of each game.  "I definitely think it was uncalled for, but I mean, it's a rivalry game so I kind of expected it. We're still going to enjoy it at the end of the day," Star player RJ Davis said with a smile. Catching Fire UNC player Cormac Ryan scored a career high of 31 po...
